Divorce Coach for a Stronger You
Let me support you through your breakup so you can step into the next chapter of your life with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Colette met me in a vulnerable place and helped me evolve into someone who feels grounded, clear, and ready for the future. She knows how to do a lot with very little, and her guidance turned a painful chapter into the foundation of something strong. I'm so grateful for the experience of working with her, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
I cannot say enough positive things about working with Colette. Her ability to pay close attention to the emotional details while also helping me see and plan for the bigger picture is truly admirable. I've grown so much through our work together, personally and emotionally.
You're amazing, Colette! I’ve learned so much from working with you.
She embraced the messy for us, and I have no doubt that she will make magic again.

Hi, I'm Colette.
I became a divorce coach because I’ve lived it.
When I left my husband, my sons were just 10 months and 2 years old. I was stuck in a job I hated, paying a mortgage on a house I no longer lived in, getting ready to move into my parents’ basement with four boxes to my name. My divorce wasn’t just a breakup—it was a full-body trauma.
But I had a choice: shrink into despair, or be reborn.
One year later, I had fallen in love with myself. I left my job, launched a business that made over $500k in its first year, and built a life that felt like mine again. My kids were thriving, my co-parenting was peaceful, and my friends said it felt like I had finally come home to myself.
As a divorce coach, I’m here to help you do the same. This is not the end of your journey, it is the beginning. Let’s find joy, purpose and clarity from building a new life for you.
How we work together
My coaching philosophy is grounded in therapy and borrows concepts from Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, wellness coaching and somatic work. Even though this isn’t therapy (and I can’t diagnose you OR your ex for mental illnesses), our sessions will often feel like what you would experience in a therapist’s office. But I’m guiding the way here, and I will dig deep.
Reset your body
Divorce is a full-body traumatic experience. Stress, tension, and exhaustion can take over.
We’ll focus on getting your nervous system out of survival mode, so you can sleep better, breathe easier, and feel physically safe in your own skin again.
Rewire your thinking
We’ll work on shifting the mental patterns that keep you stuck.
Together, we’ll figure out what actually matters to you now by identifying your core values and getting clear on who you are outside of your relationship.
This is about rebuilding your mindset from a place of strength, clarity, and self-trust.
Embrace your future
This isn’t just about surviving your divorce. It’s about stepping into what’s next!
We’ll build a vision for your future that feels real, exciting, and grounded in who you truly are now.
What you'll learn
I really believe that if you want real, lasting change in your life, it starts with understanding yourself—your patterns, your blind spots, and how you got here. We’ll look at where you are right now, talk through the story of your marriage, and figure out what’s actually getting in your way.
As your divorce coach, I’ll help you reconnect with who you are. Not the version of you in a relationship, but the one who’s building something new. This is about showing up fully in your own life, with clarity, self-trust, and full authenticity.
Life feels in order
Divorce can leave your life feeling chaotic and uncertain. We’ll work together to rebuild structure, clarity, and routine so you feel grounded, focused, and capable of moving forward with confidence.
Self compassion
You’re not supposed to have it all figured out. You’ll learn how to treat yourself with the same kindness and grace you’d offer a close friend, especially when things feel messy or hard.
Core values
Divorce gives you a chance to redefine what really matters. We’ll identify your core values so you can rebuild your life in a way that feels aligned, purposeful, and true to you.
Trust in yourself
One of the hardest parts of moving past divorce is doubting your decisions. You’ll rebuild trust in your intuition and inner voice, so you can stop second-guessing and start stepping into your next chapter with certainty.

FAQ Section
What does a divorce coach do?
A divorce coach helps you navigate the emotional, logistical, and personal challenges of divorce. I’m here to support you through decision-making, self-reflection, and rebuilding your life—so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Is a divorce coach worth it?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about what’s next, a divorce coach can make a huge difference. Clients often say coaching helped them avoid costly mistakes, manage emotional stress, and feel stronger than they ever imagined.
How is a divorce coach different from a therapist?
Psychotherapy is focused on addressing mental health issues and developing skills for coping with difficult emotions. Divorce coaching is focused on helping you align your life with your needs and values, which we accomplish through deep inquiry, radical self-compassion and building a plan for the future.
Do I need a divorce coach if I have a divorce lawyer?
Yes. Your lawyer handles the legal side, but a divorce coach supports your mindset, emotions, and everyday decision-making. Together, we make sure you’re not just surviving the process, you’re growing through it.
How long should I work with a divorce coach?
Most clients work with me for 3–6 months, depending on where they are in the divorce process. After that, many choose to continue with lighter support as they step fully into their next chapter.
What happens in a divorce coaching session?
Each session is unique to you and where you are in your journey. Coaching sessions involve us talking through your current stressors and looking for solutions to them. When we're just getting started, we'll focus on bringing you back to center and feeling like you're out of survival mode. As we progress, we'll focus more on who you want to become. Sessions are a mix of deep reflection, practical problem-solving, and mindset shifts—plus you’ll get unlimited text support between meetings.
How do I know if divorce coaching is right for me?
If you’re asking big questions like “Who am I now?” or “How do I even begin again?”, coaching might be exactly what you need. It’s for people who are ready to stop spinning and start rebuilding.
